A Marrakech to North Morocco tour is a wonderful way to explore the diversity of Morocco, taking in the stunning scenery and fascinating culture of the northern regions.
Marrakech – Fez
6 am from marrakech
You will start your tour from Marrakech, and your first destination will be Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. You will visit the famous Hassan Tower and the Royal Palace before continuing on to the blue-painted city of Chefchaouen. This city is known for its striking blue buildings and picturesque streets, and you will have time to explore the old town and its souks.
After breakfast, you will head to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest and best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. From there, you will visit Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where you will see the Bab Mansour gate and the Royal Stables. Finally, you will travel to Fez, where you will spend the night.
Fez is the oldest and most fascinating city in Morocco. You will have a full day to explore the narrow streets of the medina, the largest in the world, and visit its many mosques, palaces, and markets. You will also have a chance to learn about the ancient art of Moroccan ceramics and visit a traditional leather tannery.
After breakfast, you will leave Fez and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at the charming town of Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou, where you can see Barbary macaque monkeys. You will then continue to the town of Beni Mellal, where you will spend the night.
On the final day of the tour, you will travel back to Marrakech, passing through beautiful landscapes and traditional Berber villages. You will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon, where your tour will end.
